Gaskets

  • Spiral Wound Gaskets

Spiral Wound gaskets have become extremely popular due to a wide variety of available styles and sizes. Styles include WR, WRI, WR-LC,WRI LC, WR-AB, WRI-HTG, WRI-LP. These gaskets can be fabricated with any metal that is available in a thin strip and can be welded; therefore Spiral Wound Gaskets can be used against virtually any corrosive medium dependent upon the choice of the metal and filler. They can be used over the complete temperature range from cryogenic to approximately 2000ºF. Materials include - 304 , 316L, Monel, Exotic Materials, Graphite, PTFE, Mica. For more information on Heat Exchanger Gaskets please visit Lamons Gasket Company or contact a TTL Representative.

  • Ring Type Joint Gaskets

RTJ (ring type joint) gaskets are manufactured in accordance with API-6A and ANSI B16.2 specifications. API ring joints come in two basic types, oval and an octagonal shape. These basic shapes are used in pressures up to 10,000 psi. The dimensions are standardized and require specially grooved flanges. The octagonal cross section has a higher sealing efficiency than the oval and would be the preferred gasket. RTJ's have "R" numbers assigned to them for pipe size and pressure class identification. Stock materials include soft iron, low carbon steel, 4-6 chrome (f5), 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 347, Monel, Inconel and Incoloy.
